Is it a problem for us to solve, or is it a God-problem-- like making crops grow?

Be on the lookout for fellow smokers-- those plucked from the fire and still smelling of smoke. Offer a helping hand. Or a hug. Or whatever.

Many of us are walking in treacherous places right now.

Our tendency is to question God's orders; or sometimes, whether we got them from God in the first place!

That's the hardest part, isn't it? The unknown. Sometimes we get answers immediately, sometimes not. (Sometimes never.)

I have to appear at the hospital every day at 6:45 am for testing and examination. That's the hard part. The easy part is the Hope Lodge!

As I think about Harvey Dent, the comic book villain and Batman foe known as Two-Face, I am reminded of some of us as we go through life.

I know God heals. Sometimes through his hand, sometimes through doctors... and sometimes through calling us home to heaven...

"Taking a real rest." That sounds pretty good, God! And that's where God has me right now. A place of rest. It's not heavy or ill-fitting.

More swamps. Just like the passage I read this morning. "More Fire Swamp, God, with quicksand hazards and Rodents of Unusual Size?"

So my question for you is, what's your status? 'Going it alone with your anchor dragging, or are you in safe harbor with other believers?

Sometimes God requires hard things. He gives us missions or puts us in circumstances that require us to be resolute.
