God was telling me that he was cooking something up for me-- something good!-- but it wasn't done cooking yet. More time was required...

The big picture is that my mission is the same as that of every other believer- to Love God, and to make him known.

Make peace with God, and with each other. Hug the ones you love, and tell them what they mean to you. Leave no unfinished conversations...

"Why am I here?" It's a loaded question. We want to know our purpose, but deep inside, we are really asking why we are in this situation.

Be on the lookout for fellow smokers-- those plucked from the fire and still smelling of smoke. Offer a helping hand. Or a hug. Or whatever.

Sometimes you do the right thing or are minding your own business even, and you still get asked to leave.

Many of us are walking in treacherous places right now.

Our tendency is to question God's orders; or sometimes, whether we got them from God in the first place!

God doesn't tell us everything. He doesn't show us all the pieces, because HE is putting the puzzle together, not us. He wants us to trust.

That's the hardest part, isn't it? The unknown. Sometimes we get answers immediately, sometimes not. (Sometimes never.)

The other morning, God showed me a big heaping bowl of Kasha, with a spoon in it. What is Kasha? Russian food. (It tastes like Provision.)

Often God has us waiting, whether it's for fulfillment of promises, answers to questions, or simply for further instructions.

"not called to see through each other, but to see each other through." That little change in word order makes all the difference...

"Why did you take him so young, God?" "What will we do without him, God?" In my opinion, God took him because he had completed his mission.
